Laura & Cory | Mendocino, CA

We adore the kind of story that spans over the years, meeting as kids, reunited years later, as friendship blossoms into love. Laura and Cory first met when they were little as neighbors and reconnected when they got older. Needless to say, the rest was history.

We were excited and honored to be a part of their love story. The admiration they have for one another, their excitement for their wedding vision, and of course the fact that we absolutely love California weddings. Who can complain about a little dose of warmth and sunshine in January. Departing before the break of dawn, after a full day of travel by plane and a four-hour drive north of San Francisco, we pulled up to the Albion River Inn near Mendocino, CA when it was pitch dark. We had no idea where we were or where the endless winding country roads lead us that night. But the sound of waves crashing outside our room was enough to make us feel we were in for something pretty incredible come daylight.

The next morning we woke up to breathtaking coastal views staring back at us. There was no doubt why Laura and Cory chose this beautiful, quaint oceanside location to have their wedding.

On top of the fact this was the most remote location we’ve travelled to for a wedding, this was also the first wedding where the bride and groom chose to forgo the first look and go with the tradition of not seeing one another until they walked down the aisle as that’s how they always pictured their wedding day. Laura spent the morning with her two bridesmaids in their charming suite getting ready and toasting away and the groom his last moments before getting married with his groomsmen. Until it was time for the two to see each other for the first time on their wedding day. Laura and Cory stood in awe as Cory’s father officiated the two to be married. There, in front of a beautiful ocean surrounded by their closest loved ones, Laura and Cory became husband and wife.

A lovely nautical theme the couple designed themselves adorned every detail of a very small and intimate wedding, one of our favorite kinds, as loved ones toasted and danced the night away as the sunset melted into moonlight. And a look into their day…

Saba & Ali | Silver Creek Valley, Ca

Featured on Junebug Weddings, Saba and Ali’s wedding day was the perfect scenario of weather, gorgeous scenery, colorful details, and a sweet couple. And when the stars align, the photographs and memories made become magic. We flew down to San Jose, California for Saba and Ali’s wedding at Silver Creek Valley Country Club and from beginning to end the day was filled with festive excitement, joy, and love.

Laced with Persian influence, beauty oozed from every single direction
we looked the entire day and our cameras ate every bit of it up.
From all the detailed treats, custom ceremony, and dancing the night away, the day couldn’t have been better. Here’s to a beautiful life together as husband and wife! A look into Saba and Ali’s wedding day.

Sarah & Sebastian | Sodo Park

The expected Seattle rain drizzled outside as we walked into the rustic Sodo Park venue two weeks before Thanksgiving. We had a feeling we were in for something spectacular based off of our initial session with Sarah and Sebastian and all the effort they put into their engagement shoot. The moment we stepped in, we were completely awestruck. The room was dripping with delicious crisp white orchids up from the ceiling down to the tables, perfectly curated around the cake. It was so incredible it seemed almost impossible to capture its’ true beauty in all it’s glory through a lens. The bride slipped into her gorgeous wedding dress, glasses filled to the brim with champagne clinked with cheers, and laughter from loved ones skipped throughout the halls. From those first moments, walking down the aisle, to dancing into the night, the giddiness never stopped and neither did the adrenaline. A look into the fall wedding day…

Lisa & Steve | Newcastle Golf Course

Everything about Lisa and Steve’s Newcastle Golf Club wedding last weekend was dreamy. Her gorgeous dress suited
for a princess perfectly complimenting her husband-to-be, the weather, expansive views of Seattle overlooking the hills,
and gorgeous flower petals streamed down the aisle leading to the most beautiful archway we’ve seen…in real life.
We wish these two lovebirds a lifetime of happiness filled with many more pink roses!
